Today, we’ll be visiting the beautiful capital of Georgia. We will have the opportunity to explore its narrow streets, wooden carved houses and balconies, old churches, Abanotubani – with sulfur baths, a fortress that proudly overlooks the city and enjoy the golden fund of the National museum.

We will also see the best example of the modern architecture – the Peace Bridge and enjoy the panoramic views of the city. At the end of the day, we will feel the atmosphere of the city by walking through the streets of old Tbilisi.

Today, we start our journey in one of the most distinguished regions of Georgia – Tusheti. From Kakheti there is a difficult road to Tusheti, through Abano Pass, which is located at 2900 meters, we will reach the administrative center of Tusheti – the village of Omalo.

Here, we will visit the Keselo castle-village complex, built in the XVIII century, which consisted of 12 towers and even today, there are clear traces of antiquity.

Today, begins our hiking adventure in Tusheti, which is full of beautiful nature and ancient culture. Our hiking trails will pass through forests or alpine meadows, we will visit 18th century villages, we will see centuries-old towers and houses. We visit locals and spend the nights at their houses. We will taste local dishes and get acquainted with Tush music. Each day will be unique and unforgettable for us.

We will have to walk for an average of 4-6 hours a day and overcome a total of up to 1000, down to 980 heights.

Today, is the last day of the trip to Tusheti, we say goodbye to this beautiful region and take the road to Tbilisi. On the way, we will visit the heart of the homeland of wine – Telavi, where we will taste natural wine in the local wine cellar. We’ll have a farewell dinner in the evening.
