Today, we explore the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. We will visit its narrow streets, with wooden houses and balconies. Visit Sulfur Bath Area and the historical museum, where the Golden Fund of Georgia is preserved.

Tbilisi is the city of diverse culture, we will see Orthodox Churches, Armenian Church, Mosque, Synagogue in the old town. Along with old architecture, we will see important examples of Modern Tbilisi architecture, such as Peace Bridge. After the tour have some free time to explore pretty cafes and bars of the city.

Today is our first riding day. But, before we start riding, we visit ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta. Visit Jvari Monastery (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

From Svetitskhoveli we start our riding towards Uplistsikhe cave town. After the ride, we visit Uplistsikhe cave town (1st millennium BC), it is the oldest cave-town in Georgia.

We continue our journey to the West Georgia. We drive till Gomi and start our riding from here towards Sachkhere. You might know, that Georgia is homeland of wine, this is why, there are lots of wineries in the country.

We visit one of traditional winery near Sachkhere. We taste typical wines from Western Georgia and enjoy homemade meal for the dinner.

After breakfast we start riding towards Chiatura. Chiatura is the Soviet town, famous for impressive Soviet architecture examples. We will also see the cable cars from Soviet times. Continue riding towards Zestafoni.

Here we finish our riding and drive towards Kutaisi.

The day also starts with riding. We ride towards Vani town. Visit Vani Museum. The town is the center of great archeological expeditions. Its history starts from 1st millennium bc and the unbelievable findings come from the same age. After museum, we continue our way to Baghdati village, where we visit local family for lunch. Afterwards, return back to Kutaisi (Drive).

After breakfast, drive to Gelati Monastery complex. Gelati Monastery was founded in 12th century and used to be the most important cultural centers in the country.

It is UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Gelati Monastery visit, we ride towards Martvili. Leave the bikes at the hotel and drive to Martvili canyon. We will have a possibility to take a short boat trip in the canyon.

Today, we return to Tbilisi by car. Enjoy free evening.

Transfer to the airport and departure.

Morning round of golf in the hotel. Then a free afternoon, enjoy horse riding in the surroundings, or relax by the pool in the hotel.

Overnight in Kachreti.

Today we explore Kakheti region – famous for its wine production. Savor a wine tasting at a local family-owned wine cellar to discover different Georgian bio-wines, made according to the traditional winemaking method in Kvevri, inscribed on the world heritage list of the UNESCO.

Then we make our next halt at a cozy medieval town of Sighnaghi. Wander through the charming narrow streets lined by pastel-colored houses with carved wooden balconies and admire the stunning views of the Alazani Valley and Eastern Caucasus Mountains.

For lunch, we will be warmly hosted by a local family at their home. Enjoy delicious homemade dishes and wine. Here our hosts will also show us how to make churchkhela, a typical Georgian sweet and traditional Georgian bread baked in a deep circular clay oven called a tone.

In the evening we drive to Tbilisi and experience one of the memorable moments in Georgia – a visit to Sulphur Baths.

Morning round of golf in Beautiful Tbilisi Hills to play on 18-hole course. Later, we explore colorful and vibrant city of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. Lying on the border between Europe and Asia, here, everything shows that the city has a long and multicultural history. The Old Town, framed by the remains of ancient city walls, is full of architectural gems. Walking through this district takes us to some of the main attractions like the Metekhi Church, Sioni Cathedral, Narikala Fortress and Sulphur Baths.

Feel the real cultural diversity and a lively and fun vibe of the city while spending an afternoon in one of the unique and trendy cafés of the capital.

In the evening, we enjoy delicious traditional food and drinks in a local restaurant.

Time to say goodbye to Georgia! Transfer to the airport and departure.

Transfer to the airport and departure for Baku – capital of Azerbaijan. We leave the city to be transferred to Quba – city at the foot of the breathtaking Caucasus Mountains.

Morning round of golf in National Golf Club, with 18-hole course, situated next to the hotel. Then a free afternoon to relax in the spa of the hotel to feel the real magic of the ancient East. Evening transfer to the capital.

In the afternoon we explore Baku – beautiful city with rich cultural heritage and a unique blend of the ancient & the modern architecture.

Today, we explore colorful and vibrant city of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. Lying on the border between Europe and Asia. Here, everything shows that the city has a long and multicultural history. Morning walk in the Old Town to capture the main attractions of the capital.

Then, we leave Old Tbilisi to get lost in unusually interesting locations of the capital and travel back in time to discover the relics of recent history, when Georgia was a part of the USSR. Tour will give us a glimpse of the places, that most of foreign travelers miss – the forgotten heritage of Soviet and brutalist architecture.

From Tbilisi, we set off towards the picturesque Caucasus Mountains, en-route visiting one of the most charming architectural complex of Ananuri, standing on the edge of the blue-green Zhinvali lake. Then, we continue our drive through the mountains and admire the sweeping views across the Caucasus.

Stop to enjoy a photo shoot at Gudauri Panoramic View – the most iconic landmark on the Georgian Military Highway. The location of the monument is undoubtedly breathtaking, overlooking the incredible views of mountains around.

Today, we rise early for a morning walk to the Gergeti Trinity Church. We ascend through the forest and finally reach the stunning monastery, where we are rewarded with wonderful bird’s-eye views of the surrounding landscape. Zoom in on the beautiful panorama in the glow of the morning sun.

If the weather is clear, we will also have an amazing picture of Mount Kazbek, the third highest of the Georgian Caucasus Mountains, soaring to 5047 m.

Overnight in Stepantmsinda. 

After breakfast, we will take a long drive towards the Western Georgia. Following the truly off-the-beaten-track roads, we arrive in the mining town of Chiatura – a place, that only attracts the most intrepid travelers. A vibrant mining town during the Soviet era, famous for being crisscrossed by cable cars, dated back to the 1950s, some of them still are in service nowadays.

Later, we stop in Zestafoni to capture another famed industrial center of Georgia during the Soviet era, with a large ferro-alloy plant, processing manganese ore from Chiatura. Today’s final destination is Kutaisi, the third largest city in the country and one of the oldest settlements in Europe.

Today, is dedicated to the discovery of Tskaltubo – one of Georgia’s most unique destinations. The former spa town is full of Stalin era architectural wonders mostly abandoned and in ruin. 

Almost every building here, set us back in the Soviet times. The town with crumbling sanatoriums and overgrown vegetation everywhere is a truly exceptional urbex location – made to be photographed!

Overnight in Kutaisi.

Drive back towards Tbilisi and stop on the way in the town of Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. While visiting the Stalin museum, made to glorify his life, we have a weird feeling about stepping back into Soviet times.

Later, take a short drive towards the former capital, Mtskheta and visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites: 11th century  impressive Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and 6th century Jvari Monastery, perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque valley. Then, we continue on to the capital, where we spend last 2 nights.

A short drive brings us to Rustavi city – a real wonder to behold of the Soviet architecture, built as a major industrial center of Caucasus during the USSR. Established a few years after the construction of a large metallurgical plant in 50s, the city is a must see place for fans of Socialist architecture and Soviet history.

Full of 9-storey apartment blocks, Soviet mosaics, magnificent steel works, abandoned factories, Rustavi is untouched by tourism and we can take advantage of unique photo opportunities while exploring different parts of the city.

In the afternoon, we return to Tbilisi for our last night.
