Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Tbilisi International Airport.
Day 2: Tbilisi
Today, explore Georgia’s capital – Tbilisi. Walk through the old districts of the city, with its narrow streets, and enjoy the unique combination of cultures. You will be fascinated by the colorful houses, patterned balconies, old churches, Sulphur baths and so on.
Take a cable car to Narikala Fortress, which overlooks the whole town with its proudness. We continue on to the engrossing Georgian National museum, which represents the history of the whole country.

Day 3: Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Tsinandali - Telavi - Tbilisi
Today, you’ll drive to the wine region. On the way, admire the snowy Caucasus mountains and beautiful countryside. Arrive in fortified town of Sighnaghi. While wandering in this charming town, you will see the old fences, tiny houses and decorated balconies.
For lunch, visit a local family, where you will experience the culture of Georgian feast, try delicious food. On top of that, participate in Georgian sweet “Churchkhela” making and bread baking process.
After some time with a Georgian family continue driving to Tsinandali estate. Here, you will visit the palace of 19th century aristocratic poet Alexander Chavchavadze.
Later, visit a local, who will be glad to show us his winery and try natural wines, made by traditional way in Kvevri – clay vessel (This method is inscribed in UNESCO Intangible Heritage list). Full of pleasant emotions, return to the capital.

Day 4: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Stepantsminda
Today, you will discover the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta. Firstly, visit Jvari monastery (6th century), which overlooks the confluence of two rivers and our next destination – Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Later on, continue driving to the north part of Georgia via Georgian Military Highway. On the way, visit Ananuri complex from 17th century. The drive is the spectacular and breathtaking mountain through the scenery of the Greater Caucasus. Arrive in Stepantsminda, which is surrounded by magnificent mountains.

Day 5: Stepantsminda
In the morning, we will start walking up to Gergeti Trinity church, located on a mountain hill (2170 m.). Walking up will be challenging and enjoyable. As soon as you reach the destination, you will be amazed by the majestic Mount Kazbegi (5047 m.), the highest peak in this region. Visit Gergeti Trinity church from 14th century and overlook the town of Stepantsminda. After some time, walk back to the town center.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the hospitality of a local family. Also, you will have an opportunity to learn traditional Georgian cooking techniques. The host will teach you how to prepare Georgian traditional dish “Khinkali”. Spend the rest of the day on your own.

Day 6: Stepantsminda - Uplistsikhe - Gori
In the morning, leave this majestic part of Georgia and continue driving to Gori. On the way, visit a local family winery in a small village, where you’ll taste unique natural wines produced by traditional Georgian method in Kvevri (clay vessel). You will also have a chance to enjoy a family lunch with traditional Georgian cuisine.
Continue driving to Uplistsikhe (1st millennium BC). The oldest cave town in Georgia, which was part of a Silk Road. Here, everything is carved into the mountainside: dwelling quarters, wine-cellars, bakeries, a three-nave basilica church hewn out of rock and an antique theatre. Later, drive to Gori – birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Visit his house, where he was born and the museum.

Day 7: Gori - Sachkhere - Chiatura - Gelati - Kutaisi
In the morning, we continue our journey to the Western part of Georgia, through Imeretian villages. We will make our first stop in the industrial town of Chiatura. This town is a very good example of Soviet architecture, which still is a mining town.
In the afternoon, you will arrive in Kutaisi, the third largest city in Georgia. Visit Gelati monastery, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, built in 12th Century. Its frescoes are aesthetically beautiful and mesmerizing. It was founded by King David “the Builder”, as a center for Christian culture.

Day 8: Kutaisi - Tskaltubo - Prometheus Cave - Mestia
In the morning, visit agricultural market, one of the liveliest markets in Georgia. Here, the locals provide natural products. This experience will make you feel like a local. Drive to Tskaltubo, the most famous balneological resort in Georgia and visit Prometheus Grotto, which is a natural beauty monument. The length of the cave is 1420 m.
The unique stalactites and stalagmites will leave an indelible impression on you. The beautiful lighting and classical music on the background makes this place even more charming and mysterious.
Afterwards, continue driving to mystical Svaneti region, where the highest peaks of the Greater Caucasus, glaciers eternally covered with snow, lakes, waterfalls and towers from the Middle Ages are found.

Day 9: Mestia - Koruldi Lakes - Mestia
Today, you’ll explore one of the gorgeous place in Svaneti – wonderful alpine lakes. Drive up to Koruldi, from there is an amazing view. The peaks of Shkhara, Ushba, Tetnuldi and Laila will remain in your memory forever. Koruldi lakes will definitely captivate you with its majesty.
Drive back to Mestia, have some free time and then, visit Ethnographic museum of Mestia.

Day 10: Mestia - Ushguli - Mestia
Today, you will explore Ushguli. It is the highest permanent village in Europe at 2200 m. This town is protected by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will see how the nature, architecture and old traditions merge seamlessly into one another.
While wandering in Ushguli, you’ll visit the 12th century Lamaria church. From here, you’ll be impressed by spectacular views of Shkhara mountain. Drive back to Mestia.

Day 11: Mestia - Batumi
Today, leave the mountains of Svaneti behind and travel to Adjara region. We arrive in Batumi – Pearl of the Black Sea. We will walk along Batumi Boulevard, beautiful streets and explore this city fully.

Day 12: Batumi
In the morning, visit Botanical Garden of Batumi. Founded in 1912, this garden contains more than 5000 kind of plants from all over the world.
As you amble through the nine floristic sectors, gain an understanding of the diverse origins of the World’s plants. The garden also boasts wonderful views of the Black Sea.
Spend the rest of the day on your own.

Day 13: Batumi - Goderdzi Pass - Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia
Today, we leave Black Sea coast and drive to Southern part of Georgia via Goderdzi pass, with a fantastic scenery. We will need special 4WD cars. It is a high mountain pass on the elevation of 2027 m. above the sea level. After this exciting road, we will arrive in Akhalstikhe and visit beautifully reconstructed Rabath Fortress.
It was the most important defensive structure in the region. The modern part of the restored Rabath Fortress gives us an idea of what the fortress was like centuries ago. Continue road to Vardzia. On the way, we will make a photo stop near Khertvisi fortress.

Day 14: Vardzia - Tsalka -Tbilisi
In the morning, we will visit Vardzia cave town, which is the largest among the rock carved cities in Georgia. The monument of Georgian artistic culture of the 12th-13th centuries is divided into thirteen tiers.
There is a Church of the Assumption, refectories, sanctuaries, pantries, tunnels, a large number of cellars and pitchers. Today, Vardzia is a historical-architectural museum-reserve and one of the most important tourist attractions. Afterwards, continue road to Tbilisi.

Day 15: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
